The CONTENUR manufacturing sites in Getafe (Spain) and Mielec (Poland) are ISO 9001 certified for the design, manufacture and marketing of plastic and underground containers (ER-0634/2014).
In Spain, CONTENUR’s maintenance facilities are ISO 9001 certified for the maintenance of containers, street furniture and children’s playgrounds (ER-0634/2014).
Respect for the environment and accountable environmental performance are important to CONTENUR, so we have implemented a certified Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 (GA-2014/0276) and both our Getafe factory and Services Division have been assessed and entered on the Carbon Footprint Register held by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment.
CONTENUR’s facilities have testing areas approved by Europe’s leading laboratories, for testing to EN 840, EN 12574, EN 13071 and RAL-GZ 951/1 standards, in addition to internal protocols.
CONTENUR is also on the European Committee for Standardization, and is represented in the WG1 “Waste containers” working group and in the subgroups for each type of container that we design, manufacture, sell and maintain. The Company also actively participates in drafting new standards and reviewing existing ones.
